[ It's a new and unique feeling, to have the connection slip away. She can't say she likes it, and if she wasn't trying to do this subtly, perhaps she'd fight harder. But the benefit here is that she's getting information that hopefully the Cap'n and his crew won't know about so they can prepare. That means letting the connection go, and she'll let it go without saying anything else. Instead, she's got work to do. ]
